It has been brought to our attention that we do not allow hairpieces and makeup.  We do not mind either of theses so long as they have a natural look.  This means that you may use hairpieces, fake teeth, fake eye lashes,etc. as well as make up.  Just keep them within reason.  This has been brought to our attention that the rumor has spread that we are an ALL Natural Pageant.  Just because we do Sunday Best preliminaries does not mean that you cannot work with whatever you need to work with to improve appearance.

If you have questions about what you may use or do in our pageant, PLEASE call one of us rather than take someone else's word.

Please log onto our yahoo group and sign up.  I will approve you and we will use this means as well as this web page to get messages to you throughout the year.  You can send us messages this way and files that everyone can have access to.  We will keep a current application to our pageant in the files on this page that you can download for yourself or anyone also.  It is manditory that you join this group.  It is NCTarHeelPageant@yahoogroups.com.  We will only allow Tar Heel Pageant information to be posted.  We will not allow anyone to bash children as they do on the voy boards.

State Queens--Please remember that when you represent the Tar Heel Pageant we expect you to wear your TARHEEL CROWN and your TARHEEL BANNER.
